Quick FAQs About Donating To ILP

Yes! International Language Programs (ILP for short) is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donations are tax-deductible.

We love when volunteers have friends and family who want to support their experience, and contributing to their costs of volunteering is a great way to do that. When you enter the amount you’d like to donate, there is a “notes” box where you can enter the name of the individual the donation is for. Your full donation will be attributed to their program fee.

It depends on the country and type of program they are volunteering in. You may want to talk to your volunteer if you’re not sure, but here are the prices to give you a frame of reference:

  • Mexico — $2,670
  • Costa Rica, the DR, Nicaragua, Peru, Poland, Thailand, and India — $3,970
  • Vanuatu — $4,970
  • Romania and Uganda — $5,470

The program fee covers their international roundtrip flight, housing, 3 meals per day, and more for the semester.

Your volunteer has an account where they can log in and see that information. Talk to your volunteer about sharing the same username and password to access that info throughout the pre-departure process. You can also email accounts@ilp.org and we can help you out as well.

Yes! And thank you so much. When you’re entering the amount you would like to donate, there is a “notes” section. Please put “general donation” there or leave a note with any other information you’d like us to know.

Our Financial Secretary is the best contact for questions specifically regarding donations — you can reach out via email at accounts@ilp.org.

For questions about the overall ILP experience, you can email us at office@ilp.org or call (801) 374-8854.
