Plus, parents tend to like knowing that you’re always in reach, even when you’re away from your home.
International phone plans are becoming more common and are a popular option for travelers. First, talk to your current provider and ask what their international plan consists of. If you’re lucky, you might already have international coverage at a pretty affordable rate.
If you can’t get a good deal on an international data plan with your current provider, know that many volunteers have had luck purchasing data cards from local shops in their country.
